A 68 year old gentleman ( a retired Head Master of a school from Mymensing) came with a history of pain and distension of abdomen for 12 days. Also treated in another hospital but was not cured. On evaluation diagnosed as a case of intestinal obstruction. Surgery was done and a portion of gangrenous bowel was removed. He recovered well after surgery without any complication.
