International Mother Language Day 2024

On Wednesday, 21st February, the Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College celebrated the International Mother Language Day with a assembly to honour the language martyrs of Bangladesh and celebrate every language people speak around the world.

Paying tribute to language diversity around the world, “Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College held a special assembly, where students sang “Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano Ekushey February.” 

Honorable CEO Sir Taufik Bin Ismail graced the inaugural program of the Ekushey Rally.

Honorable Madam Nuradilah Binti Shuib, Chief Finance Officer and Ruzita Mohammad Dan, Chief Nursing Officer and respected management of the hospital, students and all faculty members from Nursing college and officials and employees of the hospital were present in the rally of Ekushey February.      

Students recited poems and performed songs to celebrate the diverse culture of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College’s vibrant community and joined teachers and officials to place floral wreaths at the Hospital’s Shaheed Minar.

Rumana Aktar Khatun, Principal of Nursing College, said: “Our International Mother Language assembly was a joyous opportunity to celebrate the multitude of languages and cultural expressions within our student’s community.”

“This perfectly demonstrates our commitment to honoring linguistic diversity and fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued and respected,” she added.
